The Ferguson service is a ‘Guaranteed Fixed Price’ premium service. Our Franchise Owners are intimately involved in the marketing of the Ferguson services as well as relationship building with their customers throughout the local community.
Ferguson has a 12 step process which allows both parties to carry out their due diligence and proceed simultaneously.
The phases of this process are:
- Information & Application Phase: we get to know each other!
- Site Selection (Protected Territory) Phase: select where you want to set up.
- Disclosure & Due Diligence Phase: questions, phone calls, reviews & making sure it’s a good fit.
- Confirmation Day: we welcome you to the team!

A Day In The Life

A typical day involves organizing your Moving crew and overseeing their activity, dealing with your customers and exceeding their expectations and being visible throughout your local community always looking for local marketing opportunities to advance the Ferguson brand and generate new moving opportunities for your business.
Becoming a Multi Unit Franchise Owner
The majority of Ferguson Franchise Owners are Multi-Unit Owners who enjoy larger protected territories and are looking to grow their business and add additional Moving Trucks to the business as the demand for our moving services increases. We enjoy a high customer retention rate and are often doing subsequent moves for regular customers making this a very scalable business as your marketing, customer referrals and word of mouth continue to attract new customers. Multi Unit Owners employ and manage a team of professional movers.
Becoming a Single Unit Owner/Operator
A Single Unit franchise is available for the ‘hands-on’ operator who wishes to undertake the ‘day-to-day’ moving as well as enjoying the satisfaction of being his or her own boss.
The Process Moving Forward
We want you to work at a pace that works for you! We understand that investing in your own business is a big decision and one that should be made with as much detailed information as you and your advisors require. We welcome regular contact and embrace open dialogue throughout the vetting process to ensure every question you have has been answered to your full satisfaction. Once you have fully understood the Ferguson business model, you are comfortable with the terms and conditions of your franchise agreement, have your funding in place, we will then arrange to have you attend “Confirmation Day”. During the Confirmation process we will jointly decide your likely Grand Opening date, schedule your Ferguson Training dates and work with you to facilitate a smooth transition into your new Ferguson business.
